Having claimed Limousin champion earlier this Tuesday, three-year-old cow Brockhurst Heavenly came up trumps in the interbreed ring under judge J Dykes. Shown with her heifer calf at foot, Heavenly, a Willodge Vantastic daughter, was bred and exhibited by W J & M Mash. Her dam is the successful show cow Brockhurst Bolshoi who herself claimed the interbreed champion at Yorkshire in 2014 along with the Royal highland show the same year.
Red reserve
Standing reserve interbreed champion for the second year in a row was Lincoln Red bull St Fort Rolex. Exhibited by Chris Page, the three-year old caught the judge Mr G Parkinsons eye to be tapped forward as male and overall Lincoln red champion earlier in the day. Sired by Norton Beau, Rolex is out of dam St Fort Hannah bred by Casper Mylius.
