Farmers must provide evidence of completing a farm safety course in order to qualify for payment under TAMS II. Unless a farmer has completed the Green Cert in the past five years, they must have a safety course completed before seeking payment from the Department of Agriculture.

The terms and conditions of the scheme state that “in the case of a registered farm partnership or a company, the course must have been completed by the young farmer”.
