Urea remains scarce in co-op and merchant yards around the country.

Sellers are quoting urea at prices ranging from €350/t to €365/t. The lower prices would be for orders of around 24t with payment within 30 days, while smaller orders are costing around €365/t. Some co-ops noted that “the panic that was on for urea is now gone”.

There’s a large variation in CAN prices, depending mostly on quantity purchased. Price quotes range from €240/t for lorry load orders to €270/t for smaller orders.

Prices for compounds rose about €10/t in recent weeks but are now steady with 18-6-12 ranging from €350/t to €370/t.
