Stone wall theft may not be heard or talked about often on these shores, but on the other side of the Irish Sea it’s a very real issue.
I spotted on Twitter that a farmer arrived out to one of his fields to find two large gaping holes in what could only be described as a fine dry stone wall.
Stones were taken from the wall in the dead of night.

So, not content with stealing livestock, trailers, gates and other farm equipment, thieves are taking stones from walls? What’s going on at all.
