Teagasc is holding its national lowland sheep conferences on Tuesday 30 January in the Loughrea Hotel and Spa, Loughrea, Co Galway, and on Thursday 1 February in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
Both events start at 6pm and are Department of Agriculture approved knowledge transfer national events with registration commencing at 5.30pm.
Topics include achieving more from grazing systems, late pregnancy feeding and the results from the trial assessing if leaving male lambs entire will affect their meat quality.
UK-based flock health specialist Dr Fiona Lovatt will also discuss hidden diseases such as OPA or Jaagsiekte, Johnes and CLA or Caseous lymphadenitis.
The national hill sheep conference takes place on 21 February in the Knockranny House Hotel, Westport, Co Mayo.
