Landcruiser thefts

In the second half of 2018, there was a spate of Toyota Land Cruiser thefts in Co Meath, with gangs believed to be behind the robberies.

Then, in December, gardaí announced they had recovered up to €500,000 in car parts, consisting mainly of Toyota Landcruiser parts, at a property in Drumgoose, Castleblaney, Co Monaghan. It has not been confirmed yet whether any of the parts recovered belonged to any of the Land Cruisers reported stolen earlier in the year.
