A clearance auction in Roscommon attracted a significant crowd of machinery enthusiasts. The auction was hosted by Michael Doyle Auctions on behalf of David Connolly, an agricultural contractor.

A total of 45 lots were on offer in the auction, and many of these attracted significant interest.

All lots were subject to 23% VAT plus 5% commission on all selling prices up to €10,000 and 3% over €10,000. Commission prices are also exclusive of VAT.

Below, we focus on the eight tractors that were on offer today, of which six were sold.

This 2002 Valtra 8950 attracted some serious attention. Fitted with front linkage and PTO, while showing 7,330 hours on the odometer, it was sold for €43,500.

This meticulously cared-for Case IH CVX130 with 6,569 hours sold for €35,500. It was manufactured in 2002.

This sweet 6910, manufactured in 2000, sold for €20,500. It had 9,000 hours.

This 2007 T130, showing 9,710 hours, was sold for €19,700.

This tidy 1997 John Deere 7700 with 10,380 hours showing on the odometer was sold for €16,200.

This 1997 8150 has 13,900 hours on the odometer and was sold under the hammer for €16,500.

This 2012 Valtra T161 was the newest tractor up for grabs. With 5,120 hours, it was unsold at €36,000.

This 2004 Lamborghini R5.130 displaying 7,710 hours on the odometer, was unsold at €17,000.
