Clive Bennett is a suckler and sheep farmer in Johnsborough, Camross, Co Laois. He runs a suckler cow to beef system but moved into sheep three years ago to have a second enterprise. He sees diversifying as a way of protecting income on the farm when one sector is under pressure. \ Phill Doyle
