The crop was sown on April 8th and yielded around 20s per acre fresh weight. The maize variety is LG31235 from AMAC Farm Supplies. \ Donal O' Leary

Derek Keogh from Keoghs potatoes harvesting potatoes for crisping in Lispopple, Co Dublin. This year has been really good for potaotes in north dublin according to the Keoghs. While there has been heavy down pours, they have come at the right time. Keoghs plant around 350 hectares in north Dublin each year. This year potatoes seed is costing around €700 per tonne versus €550 a tonne last year due to the poor yields from the crops in 2018. \ Philip Doyle

Having harvested a crop of wheat three weeks ago, they will sow Cassia winter barley shortly. \ Philip Doyle
