Protests
The news comes after the Beef Plan Movement staged 22 protests at beef factories since 28 July.
On Thursday, Meat Industry Ireland (MII)) announced that it will seek a “legal remedy” to ongoing factory protests.
MII said it recognised the rights of suppliers to a peaceful protest, but that there had been “unlawful behaviour” by protesters at some sites, including intimidation and “outright illegality”.
