Chief agricultural negotiator at the office of the US trade representative, Gregg Doud, will address the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) conference in the Lyrath Hotel, Kilkenny, on Friday 13 September.
Doud has a long history in the agricultural sector that spans 25 years, starting in Washington DC, working for the US Wheat Associates. He also spent eight years as the chief economist for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
Later, he became a senior professional staff member of the Senate Agriculture Committee.

Prior to his current role, Gregg Doud was president of the Commodity Markets Council, where he had served since 2013.
