Dairygold increased its base price for September milk by 0.5c/l, bringing the milk price to 27.69c/l excluding VAT.
The price is inclusive of 0.61c/l quality and sustainability bonuses, but excludes VAT.
Last month Dairygold paid suppliers a base price of 27.22c/l excluding VAT.

The Dairygold Board has today decided to increase the September Milk Price by 0.5cpl to 29.19cpl incl. 0.65cpl Quality and Sustainability Bonuses & Vat.
Dairygold chair John O'Gorman said that the increase is in response to some positivity in dairy powder markets in recent weeks.
"While at the same time, Dairygold continues to actively progress its current €130m capital investment programme across its dairy processing sites, to meet milk supplier members’ milk volume growth ambitions," he said.
The Dairygold board continues to monitor market developments and remains focused with regard to maximising the commercial return and ensuring operational efficiency.
It is the fourth processor to set a price for September. Glanbia, Lakeland and Kerry all held their prices for September.
