Six local collection centres for Ulster Wool will stop accepting wool for the 2019 season from Friday 1 November.

Ulster Wool’s grading depot at Muckamore, Co Antrim, will remain open for deliveries throughout the year.

The collection sites across NI which will no longer be accepting deliveries from next Friday are:

  • Eric Drennan - 41 Main Street, Tombermore (new in place of David Dickson who retired last year).
  • Kenny Hawkes - 4 Carnowen Road, Omagh.
  • Cartneel Stores - 17 Main Street, Aughnacloy.
  • Waste Not - Ballybrakes Business Park, Ballymoney.
  • Taggart Jacks - 1 Carnkenny Road, Ardstraw.
  • Holden Agriculture - 27 Art Road, Strabane.
  • “We are very lucky to have such a dedicated team of people working on our behalf in providing producers with a high standard of service in helping and supporting them to get their wool in,” said Ulster Wool depot manager Jayne Harkness-Bones.
