A machinery display will be included at the Association of Farm & Forestry Contractors in Ireland (FCI) biennial conference and exhibition (Confex 2019). The conference will be held at the National Show Centre, Cloghran, Swords, Co Dublin, on Wednesday 4 December.

"Contracting – the next 10 years" is the theme for the day and visitors can attend a series of information seminars that will provide contractors with information and advice to help them enhance their business.

Vital role

CEO of FBD Insurance, which is sponsoring the event, Fiona Muldoon said: “Contractors play an increasingly vital role assisting farmers meeting environmental and labour challenges as Irish agriculture adapts to our changing world. Confex 2019 provides an ideal discussion forum for contractors.”

FCI chair Richard White said: “We want to see our FCI members play a full part in the future development of the Irish agri food industry. This can be achieved through access to the best information in order to make the best decisions for their contracting businesses as it continues to support a world-class farming and agri food industry.”
