Armagh-based equipment manufacturer SlurryKat officially launched a new farm line trailing shoe at the Winter Fair in Balmoral.
SlurryKat has developed the new 7.5m vertical folding unit so it can be mounted onto both new and existing tankers from any manufacturer. To allow this, it comes with an attachment kit.
SlurryKat explained that the new low-emission application system has been tried and tested over the past season within its own in-house contracting division.

The new attachment has a lightweight design of 460kg. It comes with a lower set frame and folded design to help improve visibility to the rear.
It also has a folded angular design, helping to avoid contact with obstacles such as overhanging trees. The frame features a flip-up shoe design.
This means that all shoes on the machine are inverted and offer an anti-drip feature. The units feature the well-known German manufactured Vogelsang macerator.
