A male in his late teens has been charged in relation to the theft of a number of sheep from a farm in Granard Co Longford.
A total of 22 ewes were taken from the farm sometime between Wednesday 19 February and Thursday 20 February. While Gardaí continue to investigate, a teen had been arrested and charged.
He is due to appear before Longford District Court on 20 March in relation to the incident.

The Department of Agriculture's advice where sheep are stolen is for keepers to notify the gardaí of the details and record the relevant information on their flock registers.
