Last month was the wettest February on record in Northern Ireland, figures released by the Met Office on Monday confirmed.
Average rainfall in Northern Ireland during February 2020 was 222.7mm, which is over two and a half times the long-term average.
The Met Office figures show that it was also the wettest February on record in England and Wales, and the second-wettest on record in Scotland.
The statistics state that across the UK, the 2019/20 winter (December, January and February) was the fifth-wettest on record.
In Northern Ireland, there was 399.8mm of rainfall over the three-month period on average.
