Parts of the west and northwest can expect heavy rain over the weekend, with Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo all issued with a status yellow rainfall warning.
Met Éireann has said there will be heavy rain and blustery conditions at times, from Saturday morning through to early Monday.
This will lead to “accumulations of 40mm to 60mm with spot flooding”, it said. It warned that higher totals are expected in mountainous areas, with the risk of flash flooding.

The warning is in place from 9am on Saturday until 9am on Monday.
Donegal
Separately, Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather alert for Donegal. The warning is in place from 3pm on Friday until 7pm.
Thunderstorms are forecast for a time in the afternoon with localised heavy downpours.
“Due to the localised nature of thunderstorms, many areas will remain dry,” it said.
