Livestock exporter John Hallissey exported 400 pedigree Angus heifers to a customer in eastern Europe in recent days.
The cattle were assembled and readied for export in Hallissey’s approved export yard in Askeaton, Co Limerick.
They were then loaded on to seven livestock trucks. The breeding animals are all in the range of 330kg to 340kg.
On arrival, they will be checked and moved on to destination farms.
Hallissey is now purchasing suitable pedigree breeding heifers for his next order. Further details are available on 087-284 9157.
