DEAR SIR: Most dairy farmers in Ireland were lost in the dark with their breeding stock policy before ICBF arrived and shone light on the subject.ICBF figured it out for us dairy farmers, identifying bulls that delivered the best economic return. They’ve been innovative, intelligent, independent, honest and courageous in the interest of Irish dairy farming. In future, they should continue to show plenty of balls in pursuit of the excellence that benefits us. Use the most modern technologies, review and adapt if necessary, as you see fit. Thanks for the good work.
