Carbery is the latest processor to announce its October milk price, remaining unchanged from September at 30.74c/l excluding VAT.

The price includes a 1c/l support payment from its stability fund.

“If this decision is replicated across the four west Cork co-ops - Bandon, Barryroe, Drinagh and Lisavaird - this will result in an average price for October of 32.4c/l, inclusive of VAT,” a spokesperson for Carbery said.

The price is exclusive of SCC or any other adjustments which may be made by the co-ops.

Kerry Group

Meanwhile, Kerry Group has held its October milk price at 29.4c/l excluding VAT.

Based on average October milk solids, the price return excluding VAT and including bonuses is 37.64c/l, a spokesperson for Kerry Group said.
