It has been a tough month on secretaries. First, the Irish Limouisn Cattle Society's secretary stepped down, and now, come 12 January 2021, Tullamore Show will also be without a secretary.
Freda Kinnarney made the announcement of her resignation on a Zoom meeting of the executive committee on Tuesday night. Having been involved in some form since the show started in 1991, Freda was then made secretary in 1997. As the show grew in stature, her number of job titles increased and she now leaves as official company secretary and operations manager.

Tullamore Show however has not being without its lows, with 2020 the fourth show cancelled since its establishment.
