Quality customer service is the backbone to the success of any business.

A job well done in customer service can increase customer loyalty and the amount of money each customer spends with a business.

Keogh’s Farm is looking for an experienced e-commerce and customer service manager to do just that.

About the company

The Keogh family have been farming the low-lying fertile land of Oldtown, Co Dublin, for over 200 years. Over the years, the family business has spread its roots. And now could be your chance to join the crew.

Keogh’s Crisps is an equal opportunities employer. So what does that mean for you?

It means they are on your side as a jobseeker and employee. The company cannot and will not favour, or discriminate against applicants, or employees, based on their gender, family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, race, whether or not a person has a disability, or is from the travelling community.

The company ethos is that they love working with committed and inspiring people to create something their grandparents would be proud of.

About the job

Keogh’s is advertising the role as e-commerce and customer service manager. The suitable person will have four main areas of responsibility

1 Ecommerce: Managing the day-to-day running of the e-commerce platform. This includes processing orders, uploading new products and updating promotions on the website. Assisting with the rollout of digital marketing campaigns and liaising with third-party couriers are also important here.

2 Business development: The chosen candidate will be able to attract new customers to the website and build up a loyal customer base.

3 Category analysis: This refers to the process of having deep insight into customer experiences, emerging trends in the market, information about competitors and their marketing activities. It also includes evaluating the performance of ongoing digital market campaigns. This will lead the business ahead of its competitors.

4 Customer service: Lead the implementation of five-star customer service throughout all elements of the business. Keogh’s is looking to recruit an internal champion for customer service, who can lead by example. When working with external service providers, the candidate will show an exceptionally high level of customer service.

About you

Ideally, you will already have a degree in a technical field or related discipline.

You will have approximately three years’ experience managing an e-commerce platform, a customer service function and/or digital marketing.

Your strengths lie in the areas of communication and collaboration.

You are naturally organised, with strong attention to detail and have excellent time-management skills.

You are a self-starter, ie you can identify solutions and opportunities without need for constant direction.
