The firm ifac has been shortlisted for a 2022 Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD) Ireland human resources (HR) award for the Flexible and Hybrid Working category.
The firm was shortlisted as a result of their innovative approach to hybrid working, which now includes providing more choice to employees as to when, where and how their work can be completed, consideration for wellbeing and family commitments, and the provision of flexible and “future-focused” working.
“The pandemic has certainly changed the conversation on flexible and remote working,” ifac’s chief executive John Donoghue states.

Hybrid working model
The Flexible and Hybrid Working category of the CIPD HR awards recognises those in business who have excelled in creating these types of hybrid working models; largely in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ifac’s approach involves its 450 employees working three days in the office and two days working from home. They have also incorporated company-specific work-from-home policies, such as keeping cameras on during virtual team meetings.
