This figure doesn’t deviate for beef farmers as 50% say they have completed a fodder budget, with 55% of dairy farmers having completed one.
Meanwhile, just 43% of sheep farmers say they have completed a fodder budget for next winter.

Two-thirds of farmers across the board say they will have adequate fodder for the winter ahead, 15% say they will run short and 25% say they will have too much.
Some 64% of beef farmers reckon they will have enough, while 55% and 56% of dairy and sheep farmers, respectively, say their supplies are adequate.
Interestingly, 27% of sheep farmers believe they will have excess fodder, while 25% of beef farmers and 24% of dairy farmers reckon the same.
