When did you set up your business and why?

I set up my business last November.

It was hard to find a job, so I decided to start my business in upcycling and jewellery making, other crafts and art.

Can you explain your process?

I like nature and I'm always getting inspired by it.

I like to upcycle and recycle old, broken things, like furniture.

I'm using resin to preserve natural ferns, herbs, flowers and make jewellery and wall artworks.

Resin allows me to preserve anything: pieces of clothing, old greeting cards, photos, broken things, etc.

What is your best seller?

I've only started, so it's hard to say. My best seller is a series of golden geometrical shapes with white leaves.

What is it about your business that brings you joy?

My joy is to transform old, broken things. To give them new life and people won't throw them in the rubbish. Especially when it's something from your childhood, etc.

What are your hopes for 2023?

My hope is to be useful to people and nature here with my talents.

Alla Shadrova's work is inspired by nature.

What advice would you give to another start-up business?

Believe in yourself and don't give up. No matter how hard your circumstances, if you have ideas or talents, they were given to you for some reason.

So, take your chance and try to do everything possible.
