For the first time in 15 years, Ballymore Schoolhouse gardens in Carraig Rua, Camolin, will be open in support of Hope Cancer Support Services. The Japanese style gardens, which have been refurbished,will open on two weekends 27 - 28 May and 3 - 4 June from 12-5pm.
The gardens include a laburnum tunnel, a moon gate, an authentic Japanese teahouse, meandering streams, intimate walkways and a spectacular view of north Wexford.
The garden boasts an array of wildlife including dragon flies, frogs, newts and water beetles in the refurbished ponds.

Donations for Hope and Wexford Women’s Refuge will be accepted at the gate. Refreshments are provided by the local Holy Trinity Church, Ballymore.
Unfortunately, the gardens are not wheelchair or buggy accessible due to steps and a sloping site.
