Less than 20% of farmers believe that An Garda Síochána are doing enough to police rural crime in their area.
Belief that gardaí were doing enough policing was lowest in Leinster, where just 17% of farmers believed sufficient policing was being done.
Just over 20% of Munster and Ulster farmers were also of this belief, while just 19% of farmers in Connacht felt gardaí were doing enough to combat rural crime.
