James Stokes was born and reared on a Co Limerick dairy farm. Despite huge interest in the home farm, when it came to setting up his own business he went down the route of poultry.
At age 11, he began selling chickens at Kilmallock Mart and by 13, he had setup his own business, Freeway Poultry.
