Batches of spinach and mixed leaves products are being recalled by McCormack Family Farms due to the detection of bacteria Listeria monocytogenes.

This notice comes after one adult has died as a result of being infected by listeria bacteria.

However, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has said that there is currently no evidence that this food recall is linked with the listeriosis outbreak related to ready-to-heat meals that is currently under investigation.
