IFA president Francie Gorman and ICMSA president Denis Drennan are appointed by the Minister for Agriculture to the board. Other ministerial appointments include:
Cliona Murphy, the former vice president, quality assurance at PepsiCo.
Karen Kerrigan, the director of Kerrigan’s Mushrooms.
Kevin Cahill, the managing director of ABP Ireland and Poland.
Sharon Buckley, the former chief commercial officer at Musgrave Group.
The members appointed to the board via the Public Appointments Service (PAS) process are former Dairygold CEO Jim Woulfe, the managing director of Brand Innovation Ireland Lorraine Allen, professor of dairy production at UCD Karina Pierce, sustainability and business development consultant Mary Delaney, agri-food consultant Michael Cronin and Pat Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald Nurseries.
Maria Dunne assistant secretary at the Department of Agriculture is also a member.
