It is unacceptable to have a situation where farmers who have made TAMS II applications as far back as July 2015 have still not been given approval to go ahead with their proposed investment. There have been too many broken promises from the Department on this issue. It is time now for Minister Creed to intervene to ensure approvals are issued for the 5,000 farmers who have been waiting for months to start building work. This is clearly an issue that needs to be ratcheted up the political ladder.
