A Massey Ferguson 6270 that was stolen from a farm on the Deverney Road near Omagh on the night of Thursday 11 May has been located.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said that information received from the public led to the tractor being located.

However, it is unclear where the tractor was recovered from and if any arrests have been made in connection with the theft.

In a statement, Constable Adam Gilpin thanked the public for assisting in the recovery of the vehicle.

“We remain fully committed to reducing all types of crime, including rural and agricultural crime and are grateful for assistance from the public in doing so,” he said.
