Ballina Samhain

25 Oct: Visitors to Ballina in Mayo are promised a good scare during the town’s six-day fright festival for children and adults. Events include a murder mystery tour, a zombie 5km and a scary walk in Belleek woods. For more information look up Ballina Samhain on Facebook.

Tara Puc Fada

25 Oct: The Hill of Tara Puc Fada in Meath is sponsored by Joey Horan, Padraic Curtis and Cormac Doyle. It will have two sections, one for over-40s and one for minors. The first puc will be taken from the Ancient Hill of Tara, followed by a twisting route through four local farms and ending at the Kilmessan Hurling Club.

Kenmare Howl

25-31 Oct: Interested in a spot of zombie Zumba? Then make your way to south Kerry for Kenmare Howl, which is now in its third year.
