‘Young farmer’ (5) driving pedal tractor stopped by German police
A young farmer, aged five, was stopped by police in Germany last week, after he was found driving his pedal tractor on a roadside at 9pm looking for a gas station.
A young farmer, aged five, was stopped by German police last week after he was found on the roadside driving his pedal tractor to a fuel station looking for an oil change.
A Facebook post on the North Upper Bavarian police page said that police found the boy at around 9pm on a roadside.
When asked by the police as to where he was going at that time of night the boy simply replied ‘gas station – oil run out’.

Following an inspection of the driver and vehicle, as well as safe escort, the young farmer was returned to his mother.
According to the Facebook post, the boy’s mother had not noticed the absence of her son, who managed to escape out of a window in the house.
In reply to a comment to the post, the German police confirmed that the boy did get the oil change he was looking for and the pedal tractor was now running like it was freshly oiled.
