Weather forecast

Warm, humid and misty weather is forecast at first on Monday with patchy rain or drizzle.

However much of Connacht and Ulster will see occasionally heavy and persistent rain with the risk of localised spot flooding.

It will become generally dry over the southern half of the country through the course of the day with some hazy sunshine developing.

Temperatures will range between 18 to 21 degrees but into the mid-twenties over parts of Leinster and Munster.

Winds mainly moderate southwest in direction but fresher along coasts.
