Store lambs sold to £70/head. Breeding hoggets sold mainly from £122 to £195, with the majority making from £125 to £135. Store lambs made from £66.50 to £70 in the main. Ewe lambs sold mainly from £90 to £114.
Saturday’s weanling sale saw 179 heifer calves on offer. Prices of light calves under 250kg ranged mainly from £2.52/kg to £2.95/kg. Heavier heifers sold from £2.46/kg to £3.10/kg, with prices averaging at £2.45/kg to £265/kg. Heifers over 300kg sold from £2.13/kg to £2.57/kg.

Bulls from 250kg to 300kg sold mainly from £2.73/kg to £2.06/kg and averaged around £2.80/kg to £2.90/kg. Heavier bulls over 300kg sold mainly from £2.60/kg to £2.75/kg. Those over 350kg sold mainly from £2.25/kg to £2.40/kg.
