A third consecutive drop in price has been recorded at the latest Global Dairy Trade event, with the most recent 5% decrease meaning average prices reached €2,774.

The price of butter dipped 4% to €4,626/mt, cheddar 4.3% to €3,187, skim milk powder by 4.6% to €1,642 and while milk powder by 7.3% to €2,493.

In contrast, butter milk powder recorded an increase of 6.4% to €2,129 and rennet casein by 3.6% to €4,368.
