An additional 68 TAMS (Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme) payments have been made by the Department of Agriculture in the past week.
Latest figures show that 2,000 payments totalling €28.4m have been issued.
Of the 11,837 TAMS approvals issued, only 2,738 payment applications have so far been made, as farmers complete the work on farms.
