Auctioneer Joseph Coogan, Castlecomer, is handling the sale of 28.7 acres of land situated right on the outskirts of Cahir, with frontage onto the main Cahir/Clonmel road and the Convent road. The land is described by Coogan as “top quality, prime agricultural land” and has excellent site potential given its proximity to the town.

The land comes with a number of farm buildings, including a four-span A-roof shed, a single-storey old stone building, a cattle crush and handling yard. The farm will be offered for sale in its entire or in two lots. Lot one comprises 6.2 acres with frontage onto the Cahir/Clonmel road and includes the farm buildings. The second lot comprises the remaining 22.5 acres with frontage onto the Convent road.

The land will be offered for sale by public auction on 10 October, at 3pm in the Kilcoran Lodge Hotel, Cahir. Joseph Coogan is guiding between €10-15,000/acre.
