Tolan claimed that the co-op withdrew credit from him and barred him from attending its marts in Ballinrobe and Balla, Co Mayo, as well as Ballymote, Co Sligo.

However, Aurivo maintained that a business agreement did not exist between the co-op and Tolan.

The case had been taking place in the High Court over the past four days. On Friday it was dismissed in its entirety by the President of the High Court, Justice Nicolas Kearns. Costs will now have to be paid in favour of Aurivo.
