Alpacas are making a return to Tullamore Show, with no fewer than three championship classes for the animal.
An alpaca will also be shorn not too far away from the sheep, for those interested in the spectacle.
For the championship classes, the fleece of the animal and the animal itself will be judged.
Aside from wool, alpacas are also bred for use in modern therapy as they are known for their calming effect.
