Anner Agri take on Weaving for Ireland

One of the newest companies in the farm machinery business is Anner Agri Ltd based in Killaloan, Clonmel, Co Tipperary. The company has been appointed as the Irish distributor for the Weaving Machinery range. The business was set up by farmer John O’Donnell, who worked the machines in his own farming operation prior to becoming an agent for Weaving.

Anner Agri Ltd is the agent for Weaving Machinery for the Agrimaster range of flail mowers for cutting grass, rushes and furze bushes. These machines are fitted with a heavy-duty gearbox rated at up to 200hp. The Agrimaster range of flail mowers are available as fixed or offset models.

Vogelsang opens Galway branch

German specialist slurry equipment supplier Vogelsang has opened an Irish branch at Unit 3, Liosban Business Park, Galway. Vogelsang is a specialist supplier of equipment and fittings for slurry tankers. The company can be contacted at 091-394570.

Vogelsang produces a range of attachments for slurry injectors and trailing shoe machines.

Vogelsang also produces a Flow Performance Monitor that electronically monitors trailing shoe or band spreading of slurry. It identifies any individual hose that is not operating correctly. As part of a “precision farming” concept, the Flow Performance Monitor ensures more precise liquid manure or fertilizer application. The unit can monitor solid or liquid materials.

Gary Oxley joins JH Fitzpatrick

Gary Oxley has joined the sales team in the agricultural machinery department of Case IH dealers JH Fitzpatrick Ltd, Monasterevin, Co Kildare. Gary has a background in agricultural and construction machinery. He studied agricultural engineering at IT Tralee.

Alamo Group buys Kellands

Alamo Group Europe Ltd has acquired the British companies Kellands Agricultural Ltd and its subsidiary Multidrive Tractors Ltd, both based near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.

The Kellands Group designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of spraying machinery including the Agribuggy, a low ground pressure self-propelled sprayer which has a curved-glass cab with 360-degree visibility, four-wheel steering, and a 2.8 litre 148hp turbo engine.

Multidrive Tractors designs and manufactures a unique range of multi-purpose load-carrying tractor units which can be customised with a selection of mounted sprayers as well as fertilizer spreaders. Each model has an efficient mechanical drive-line and high-visibility cab for comfort, safety and productivity. Multidrive applications include slurry tankers, lime spreaders, trailer hauling, and bespoke utility built for industrial applications.

The Alamo Group, with its headquarters in Sequin, Texas, USA, is the owner of a number of hedgecutter machinery brands including McConnel, Bomford, Spearhead, Rousseau and Twose.

Suir gets new testing products

Suir Sprayers has secured the sole agency in Ireland to import and distribute sprayer testing products, produced from sprayer testing equipment specialists AAMS Salvarani.

AAMS offers a complete range of products for the control and inspection of sprayers, used in both agriculture and horticulture.
