Aurivo is the latest processor to set an April milk price, with suppliers receiving a base price of 29.33c/l, excluding VAT for April supplies.

Kerry and Glanbia also announced this week that they would be holding their April milk prices.

Kerry will pay suppliers 29.3c/l excluding VAT for April milk, a spokesperson for the processor has said.

Glanbia Ingredients Ireland (GII) announced that it has held its base price for April at 29.32c/l excluding VAT for manufacturing milk at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein.

Glanbia chair Henry Corbally said: “The board will continue to monitor dairy markets on a monthly basis.”

The April milk price from Lakeland Dairies is also unchanged for April.

Butter was the main mover with prices up 11.2%. Skim milk powder increased marginally by 1% while whole milk powder was also up slightly at 1.3%.
