I recently flew from Cork Airport (business, not pleasure) and couldn’t but notice the red and white billboards advertising where Cork Airport sources its food. The billboard asked and answered a question: “What do we mean by local suppliers? Walking distance ... (well, almost).”

Ordering my toast, I mused about whether the butter would be from Bandon, or maybe Lakeland, or possibly Kerrygold. I almost spilled my tea when the toast arrived with a serving of Dromana butter.

Dromana is the flagship butter brand for Belfast-based Dale Farm. There was nothing wrong with the butter, but I’m not sure the Dealer’s dodgy knee would hold up to that sort of a walk.
