Bord Bia showcases Origin Green for overseas journalists
European food and agriculture trade journalists are taking part in a series of visits organised by Bord Bia to highlight the Origin Green sustainability programme.
Mark Zieg, Bord Bia, with Florence Bray, Paris-based journalist for LSA, covering the agri-food industry, production, product innovation and consumption trends, and farmer Patrick Nuttall, Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow.

Fifteen reporters from a range of publications in the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden and Denmark have been touring beef and dairy farms, as well as food processors and distributors such as Ornua, the Teeling Distillery and the Musgrave retail group.
Coverage of the environmental and social auditing carried out under the Origin Green programme will appear in publications such as the British Dairy Reporter, France’s food retail magazine LSA or the Dutch meat industry publication Vleesmagazine. According to Bord Bia, the publications hosted on press trips this month reach a total of 270,000 trade and business readers.
