All hotels in Tullamore on the dates for next year's event have been booked out for weeks which increased speculation that the National Ploughing Association (NPA) had already decided on returning to the site a few miles outside the town. Next year's event will run from 19 September to 21 September.

A survey carried out by the Irish Farmers Journal found that the majority of businesses who showcased at this year’s event were happy with the event put on by the NPA.
