The board of Carbery met on Monday and held its price for September. This comes after Dairygold held the August price for September, as did the Kerry Group and Lakeland. Glanbia last week announced that it was cutting September price by 1c/l.
This is the third month in a row in which Carbery has held milk price. Carbery reduced the for September milk price by 2c/l. However, Carbery has announced that it will support the price by the equivalent of 2c/l means that the final price paid to suppliers for September milk remains unchanged from last month.
