Where Friesians are coming to the fore, prices of €1.40/kg to €1.70/kg are common. Light weanling bulls remain an exceptionally strong trade with prices now €20 to €30 per head above last year. Weanling heifers are steady and prices of €2.20/kg to €2.40/kg are common. Lighter types are making from €2.50/kg to €2.60/kg, some €20 to €30 per head more than this time last year.
