What can we expect from you at this year’s conference?

My cooking demonstration will be Christmas-based. To start, I’ll be sharing some creative ideas for canapés. It’s nice to have nibbles prepared before you sit down to the meal, so I’ll be showing easy but impressive canapés. Then for the starter and main courses I plan on doing dishes with all of the trimmings and lots of vegetable alternatives – people often leave this part to the last minute, so it’s good to have a variation. I’ll also include my top 10 tips for the perfect roast turkey.

That sounds delicious. What about dessert?

After all that, I have a lovely light festive dessert in mind, a winter berry tiramisu. It’s a mix between a trifle and a tiramisu and it is delicious.

Are you excited about taking part in Women & Ag?

I am really looking forward to the event. It’s my first time and I’m excited about doing the demo. A lot of people in the country tend to keep up more with the traditions. The women are in tune with the growing season and are so in touch with the land. I’m looking forward to meeting them and hearing what they have planned for their Christmas dinners.
